It's a convertible with air condition and no power windows. The original owner decided to delete the power window option on the otherwise fully loaded sports car to avoid future maintenance issues. Richard is the third owner of this unique piece of automotive history. The Corvette was originally purchased in June 1972 at Young Chevrolet in Myrtle Creek. This was the first Corvette that the Young dealership ever sold. Richard acquired the Corvette Big Block in 2005 through Mike's Corvette in Chicago with 49,000 miles on it. The car is still 95% original.Richard points out the fact that the 454 engine has never been removed from the chassis and the interior is still completely original. This particular Corvette held a mystery for Richard, in that it had chrome valve covers, as he was pretty sure the '72 Vettes didn't have a chrome engine kit option. Factory chrome kits were available on some Big Blocks in 1970, but the option was dropped after that year.Read More @ www.coolcarsvideo.com
