The hilly village of Shotteswell has a picturesque church with a tower and spire containing a ring of six. The beautiful church contains a Norman north arcade. This was the first tower on the Warwick University ringers outing in March 2011. They are ringing Little Bob Minor. The bells are remarkably oddstruck, and this oddstruckness combined with the extremely long rope on the tenor meant that I ended up on my knees to ring it. 1 1995 John Taylor Bellfounders Ltd 2 1808 John Briant 3 1674 Henry I Bagley 4 1627 (unidentified) 5 1995 John Taylor Bellfounders Ltd 6 1625 Hugh II Watts (9-1-0 (470kg) in G) There's also a sanctus bell that I grabbed but I don't know any details of it.
