This car is based on a very early Austin Healey chassis BN1 (body 825) that was built for Aktiebolaget Hans Osterman, Stockholm on December 10, 1953. It has later received a lightweight Ockelbo body from Erik Lundgren. The similarity with a Ferrari Mondial 500 is no coincidence. in 1956, Erik Lundgren took a mold from the Ferrari Mondial 500 with Scaglietti body from Ulf Norinder (chassis 0580MD). This particular Ockelbo car was equipped with a strong and powerful Volvo engine. The combination of a Healey chassis and suspension, with a lightweight Ockelbo body and a strong Volvo B18 engine, gear box and overdrive is bound to deliver an interesting and fast race car. The work is in progress and the car will be painted and finished in the months to come.
