I really, really do. I'm dropping the accentuation here cause it annoys me. But even I have to admit, even though I hate it with a blind murderous passion, that it had a large impact on gaming. I had Pokemon Yellow back in the day, and all my friends from the neighborhood had a version of Pokemon, and one guy had a N64 with Pokemon Stadium, so we all used to fight with our level 99 parties. Not surprisingly, my party was the weakest in the neighborhood. Another childhood story I have is that back then, when no one had internet, we were all looking for the elusive Mew, the only missing entry in our pokedexes. Pokedexii? Well, there was this rumor that Mew would appear in that truck next to the big ship, the cruise ship. I spent HOURS there and of course, Mew never showed up. I had also heard that if you gave a Magikarp to that person that gives 1 exp to your pokemon for every step you take, and pick it up when it reaches level 50, it would turn into Mew. Another baseless rumor, of course. Years later I learned that the trick to finding it involved using Fly the instant a specific trainer spotted you or something like that. God. I want my childhood back.Also, Zubats. What's up with their insanely high encounter rate? And they always use Supersonic to confuse you. I hated them soooo much. Also, why do all the trainers fight you? Why don't they ever fight each other? And why don't they move? Don't they eat or sleep? Plus, why can't you refuse to fight them? They're very rude. Also, how come not one but two Snorlax decided to sleep right in the middle of the road? And why didn't anyone remove them? And why are there so many swimmers in the middle of the ocean? Don't they get stung by the millions of Tentacools? And how come an Onyx fits in a tiny pokeball?Suspension of disbelief, I suppose.This is a special entry, by the way. I wanted to use all the fight themes in the game, so I included the Gym Leader and Rival's battle theme even though they don't play constantly during the game.
